I have completed my 3 week cleanse!! So, now what? That is the question, lots of people have asked me. The goal of the JOOS cleanse is to begin a path to a clean eating lifestyle. The cleanse has definitely helped me to find that path. I have discovered I feel better when I either eliminate or cut down my quantities of any foods with wheat. The other major goal with a JOOS cleanse is to become more mindful of what you eat. At parties I am much more aware of what I eat. Going straight to the fresh veggies first helps me fill up then I will treat myself to only a few other apps. I have also become more of a vegetarian. I have found that I prefer fish over meat. It makes me feel healthier. My digestive track has never been better. The 3 week JOOS cleanse has been a wonderful experience for me.

cleanse day 15-17 Amy

My 3 weeks are winding down. I feel great. I have fallen into a daily routine. My grocery shopping has changed. I have been buying more than usual fresh veggies which has not only benefited me but my family as well. I feel that after my cleanse is over I will continue to explore new vegan style recipes b/c I found that not only do I enjoy them, but I feel better when I eat that way. I feel I have definitely attained my personal goal of being mindful of my eating and have changed my habits. Just to be realistic (and honest), I know I will go back to coffee, but only decaf, and 1 cup a day.

cleanse day 12-14 Amy

I have completed 2 weeks of my cleanse. Last night I was challenged with a Bar Mitzvah – I had an AWESOME time! It was not difficult at all to be mindful of the cleanse because the meals now are much healthier than ever. They served a great greens salad and a chicken with lots of veggies, I would skip dessert normally b/c it was ice cream so I really did not feel deprived at all.

I started my cleanse with 1o people. One person quit after the first week. She truly had a hard time with the taste. She wrote me a wonderful note. She said that although she stopped the cleanse I have helped her to a better path of healthy eating. In just one week she learned so many healthy food choices for a working mom. She said she feels great and plans to stick with her changes to work on her weight loss goals. Another cleanser has completed her 2 week goal and lost 7 pounds! She plans on drinking 1 JOOS a day for breakfast for the next month. She feel that if she starts her day with a JOOS, she feels great and she will make healthy choices the rest of the day. Prior to the cleanse, she was a Diet Coke junkee, now she doesn’t crave it at all. This is the beauty of the cleanse………

Many people have said to me, how can you do a cleanse? I could never do that. Lots say things like I could never give up coffee or chocolate or meat. Anyone can do what they set their mind on and what they make a priority. Isn’t everyone’s health a priority? Each day of my 11 days so far, my goal is to be mindful of what I eat. From completing two 2-week cleanses in the past already, I have learned that I can feel full and feel great if I eat the right foods for my body. Everybody is different and that is part of the wonderful self-discovery when you cleanse.
